History and the Catholic Church

I recommend the book, The Church of Rome at the Bar of History, by William Webster (Carlisle, Pennsylvania: The Banner of Truth Trust, 1995). Webster is a former Catholic. His book shows that many modern Catholic practices and doctrines contradict the teachings of the early Church.
